You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE AND HISTORICAL album by The Beatles: Meet The Beatles! Album dated 1964. Capitol Records, T-2047. Second Press, Mono Copy. Matrix Side 1: T1-2047-G2 Matrix Side 2: T2-2047-F1 Has the triangle in matrix, and one BMI credit "I Want To Hold Your Hand". All the rest are ASCAP. RIAA #3 on cover with no mention of George Martin in credits. History of the RARE release: There has only been a choice few of these gems to surface on the market. Issued by Capitol Records' Public Relations Department to about 200 members of the press on February 10, 1964 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This day was the next day after The Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show. Cover includes the second pressing mono vinyl, original dust jacket, two rare 8"x10" glossy photographs and two detailed sheet inserts given to press members at the February 10, 1964 meeting. Original owner of the album worked for a prominent magazine publication in New York City. Condition:

Vinyl has been play tested with a light stylus and sounds fantastic. Conservative VG+ condition. There is a tiny crackle detected between song changes only. 

Front cover has RARE yellow-green sticker identifying this was a Press Copy, limited to 200 printed. Front of cover has slight wear due to age with tiny bend at top right corner. Side has very old adhesive tape by prior owner. Cannot read album title on spine due to tape, however rest is clearly legible. Slight edge wear to top and bottom of cover. 

Back of cover has edge wear at bottom left corner with slight ring wear. No mention of George Martin in credits.

Two rare 8"x10" promo glossy photographs are in Very Good condition.

Two rare Detail Sheets have the old adhesive tape as these were attached to the glossies when given to Press Members. These are in Very Good condition.
