Otari Mx5050b Mk2 1/2 Track Tape Recorder

Very nice Otari MX5050B MK2 tape recorder. 15 IPS 1/4" two track (1/2 track) recorder and reproducer, and this one has an additional 1/4 track playback head. Under the hinged head cover, there is a switch that selects 2 track or 1/4 track. It will not RECORD in 1/4 track, only in 1/2 track. These are stable and excellent machines. They make ideal tape slap machines, by virtue of the built in YSO (speed control) and small footprint. We have two of these.
