Fostex X-26 Multitracker Four Track 4-track Cassette Tape Recorder

This is a Fostex X-26 four track cassette recorder in almost brand new, unused physical condition but with some operational issues; Fast Forward and Rewind work perfect, Play and Record do not. So one or more replacement belts will be needed (easily available on eBay) at least to get this working. There may be other issues that I can’t test for so bear that in mind. The playhead and recording head look perfect, as do the pinch rollers, capstans etc. Meters and other LEDs are fine. It sounds really good - just playing something through the inputs and listening through the headphone out sounds excellent. Includes original Fostex AD-12T power supply (Wakayanagi). Please bear in mind this is Japanese 100v voltage. This may work OK in the US but I would recommend using a step down transformer to step the power down from 120v (or 240v for the UK) to 100v that this needs. Shipping is Japan Post worldwide economy.
