They had the look and the attitude, big hair with a big sound, but were also accomplished musicians and honed their craft at an early age. The Melby brothers Lary and Tim were signed to Frontline Records by Brian Tong. They went on to record 3 amazing AOR/Melodic Hard Rock albums for Frontline, this self-titled LIAISON, URGENCY and HARD HITTER. They also self-released COOL WATER years later. Initially the CCM critics shunned them as sounding like all the other arena rock bands, however it didn’t take long, nor many albums later, to get the respect they rightfully deserved. As each album progressed musically, it wasn’t long, only a few power-ballad hits, before Liaison cemented their place in the Christian Rock history books. 30 years after their debut album, the first three albums have been completely remastered from original sources and sound better than ever.
