THE IN THE GROOVE TACKY REPLACEMENT ROLLER is for use in the In The Groove record cleaning system. As the cleaning element of In The Groove, it provides easy and excellent record maintenance, enabling the user to enjoy clearer and cleaner sound. Once the old roller has been popped out of the handle, the new In The Groove Roller with its protective liner can be popped right back into the ITG handle. After you peel off the protective liner from the tacky surface of the roller, the ITG is IMMEDIATELY ready to clean records. The tacky roller does not spread dirt around. It lifts debris off the record surface, trapping it so it cannot fall back to the record surface. It gently and safely lifts greasy smudges, finger prints, dirt and debris off the vinyl surface without the use of chemical wipes, sprays, dusty cloths or brushes. When using it with a Carbon Fiber brush, The ITG Roller can completely remove the line of dust left behind by the brush. The ITG Roller CAN ALSO BE USED TO CLEAN THE CARBON FIBER BRUSH. The ITG Roller can be used repeatedly without harming your records. If its surface loses tackiness because of accumulated debris, it can be restored by simply rinsing it under warm tap water and setting it aside to air dry or by rolling it dry over a lint free paper towel or non-woven kitchen cloth. The key to its longevity is not to wash it after every use. Use it many times, over and over again, especially if your records are fairly well maintained. When the tacky surface becomes blunted by a visible cover of dust and debris, that is the time to wash it.
