Vtg Sony FM/AM Stereo Cassette Recorder Player CFS-400 Portable Radio Boombox.
This radio is pre-owned and shows signs of general wear, use, and age. It needs some extra cleaning.
I have tested this radio to the best of my ability. It has awesome clear sound. The volume, balance, tone, tuner, function, antenna, AC/battery select, and phones jack all work as they should. External mic, external speakers, and REC mute have not been tested.
The cassette deck door is loose and somehow needs adjustment. It wants to spontaneously come open. The buttons left to right- rewind is intermittent, it goes some and then stops. The stop/eject button works well. When a cassette is loaded, the door won't stay closed until the play button is engaged. Play button, fast forward, and record all work. It does record on blank tapes, and the pause button works as it should.

The last photo shows a crack in the case, and the opposite side is the same. The battery cover has a broken tab but still latches. The radio will run on batteries, not included.
