Vintage 1973 Dolmetsch Recorder model # 3499, in original box with papers and cleaning stick. Originally designed by Arnold Dolmetsch. It is brown with an ivory colored mouthpiece, made of Dolonite in Haslemere, England by Dolmetsch International. It measures 12 1/2" long and is approximately 1 inch in diameter. The box is green with the company name on it, the cover slides on and off lengthwise. The box has some minor wear on the corners. The recorder comes with all the original paperwork including care instructions and sheet of tablature and tunes in the key of C showing fingering charts for descant (soprano) and tenor recorders. There is sheet music on the page for 3 songs. The papers are yellowed from age. A cleaning stick is included in the box. The end is a sponge that is somewhat dry and yellowed so it would need to be replaced by adding new foam sponge to use it. The recorder is in excellent condition with little signs of wear.
