See Photos. Comes from a clean nonsmoking home. Full restoration. Sounds *great*. In good+++ cosmetic condition. No cracks in plexiglass or any kind of damage to report. Aluminum faceplate on the bottom is loose. Easy for buyer to fix. In excellent functional condition. System was stripped down and rebuilt, ordering parts from Europe, and restored with meticulous care. Unit is as close as one can possibly get to original factory functionality. Serial number indicates it was originally manufactured in 1971. Look below for a complete description of all work done on this unit. Comes with new power cord and original cover. Cover clips in and out without issue. Approx 20" x 15" x 9" deep. Weighs just under 43 pounds. Seller Lot #21048-RALB.
Vast majority of parts were imported from Europe as these parts are generally not available here in the US. New Brakes installed. Replaced counter drive belt. Created a plug for the interlock and adjusted. Cleaned and demagnetized heads. Capstan and wheel cleaned. Replaced PCB socket, transistors on PCB replaced/fixed. Replaced balance control on motherboard, VU meters disassembled and adjusted needles. All pots cleaned, along with play mode cutoff switch. Rebuilt EOT sensor by hand with new photoresistor sensors (no small task as there are no specs for this module). Adjusted dummy load and erase oscillator. Adjusted PSU voltage. Adjusted and/or replaced 18 PCB trim pots. Replaced PCB foam cushions. RIFA caps replaced. New bulbs. Adjusted captive nuts. System was disassembled, cleaned off old grease, lubricated mechanisms and re-assembled.
