- EX (Clean and glossy. When holding a bright light over the album I only saw a few small faint hairline scratches on Side 2. When testing I heard very light surface noise between some songs and leads). Sounds great! Jacket
- VG (The bottom edge and spine have a few very small light scuffs. The top edge has a 1" rougher scuff in the middle, not split. Corners have very light scuffs and small dings. There are quite a few spider creases on both sides). Still looks pretty good and sturdy! Inner Sleeve
- VG (Shows light handling wear and very light ring wear along with some light wrinkles. 2 edges have been taped by the previous owner. Assuming there were splits here). Overall looks good! Photos are of the actual item you will get. Any major flaws should be visible in photos. If you would like any photos not included, please ask. I am not a professional grader but have an excellent ear for music. Anything listed in EX or better condition I would have no problem keeping in my personal collection. Each album has been played (spot tested) and cleaned. I spend approx. 20 minutes listening to each album. I listen for surface noise on the lead, intros, between songs, and softer passages. I also play over any surface scratches and scuffs I see to make sure there is no skipping or pops. If anything, I under grade! Nothing like getting a record that is listed as Near Mint or EX to have deep scratches all over it and skips when played. When grading, my priority is sound, then surface marks/scratches. If it sounds NM, but has several surface scratches that you cannot hear I will grade it EX. When listing I also hold a bright light up to both sides of the album to look for hairline scratches. I will list this in my descriptions. Each jacket will be shipped in a new outer sleeve and each album in a new inner sleeve. All albums shipped via USPS Media Mail in a cardboard LP mailer outside of the jacket with cardboard on both sides for protection. I will cover Free Media Mail shipping in the USA. Here is how I grade: MINT - To me, Mint is in perfect condition, so it’s never been played or opened. I only have used vintage original albums that are 30+ years old so I will not list anything as Mint. NEAR MINT -Looks and sounds like new. Near perfect record with at most a few light hairline scratches or sleeve rubs with no clicks or skips when played. May have a hint of surface noise. Inner sleeve may have a small crease on corner, no fading, very, very light wear on corner/edges, or no splits over a ½ inch. Jacket may have very light edge/corner ware, no fading, or ring wear. EXCELLENT -Near perfect sounding record with very few light scratches or sleeve rubs. May have very light surface noise when played between songs or intro and a few very light clicks. Inner sleeve may have small creases on corners, very light fading and ring wear, very light wear on corner/edges, or small splits, but overall, in excellent condition. Jacket may have very limited markings or very light ring wear with corners/edges slightly scuffed/dinged. VERY GOOD -Record shows some signs of wear with surface scuffs and light scratches, but surface noise/pops can mainly be heard when playing in between songs, intros, or in soft spots. If slightly warped I will leave details. The inner sleeve has some creases, light tears, light ring wear, or has splits (some may have been taped). Jacket shows some wear, light fading, light ring wear, or small creases, but overall looks very good. GOOD -Record plays just fine but has some surface noise and scratches or is slightly warped. May have a couple pops or skips. The inner sleeve has multiple creases, tears, ring wear, or splits on more than one side (some have been taped). Jacket is faded (but readable), may have larger scuff marks, ring wear, corners bent, creases, or some tearing. FAIR/POOR -No albums will be sold in this condition.
