You are looking at a vintage zenith portable stereophonic phonograph mps90 turntable record player. The zenith is in previously owned condition. When it turns it makes this rubbing sound. When there is no record or base plate present, the sound goes away. There is a slight metal on metal rubbing sound that seems to be coming from within the unit. It spins fine but the rubbing sound may be something that needs lubrication. We are not sure exactly what is wrong. There is also a slight bulge on one of the sides of the housing.
