Insanely rare, limited run Promotional T-shirt used to promote the official Criterion Collection DVD release of the Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter back in November of 2000. These were handed out to employees to wear in advance of said release. So you either had to be a Tower Records employee, a friend of one, or an industry insider to snag one of these beautiful babies. This makes the shirt doubly iconic, as Tower Records went under six years later. I miss that place. This is from the landmark location on South St in Philly. So many memories. I believe it's a Walgreens now. :( As you can see it has aged well. It has that comfy, super soft feel that is always a bonus with vintage tees. The condition all-around is Excellent. No defects. It has only been worn a few times. It's a men's large that fits as such. My mannequin Twiggy is female (no male mannequin, we're trying like crazy to find her a mate), but I tend to think of most t-shirts as unisex anyway. Sleep tight knowing that this article has had only one owner who took good care of it. I will say that it is a bit of a lint magnet, so keep a brush or shaver handy.
