It does play records as we tested with the 45 that we'll include-It wasn't the best audio quality but the record wasn't that great. it may sound better with a good 45.... The case and cord is in good condition. We do not have the original box. We'll box it and pack for fast shipping and safe arrival on your doorstep. The record player measures 14" x 10" x 6".
