Thelonious Monk Meets Gerry Mulligan - Original Riverside BGP Mono DG

Mega Rare LP of Gerry Mulligan Meets Thelonious Monk (Riverside 12-247 - mono) Original blue labels with reel and mic logos, Bill Grauer Productions Inc. and deep groove on both sides - NOT a current re-issues.  Fantastic Monk session teams him up with Gerry Mulligan for the only time on LP.  Also features Wilbur Ware and Shadow Wilson in a n acknowledged c lassic that no serious jazz collector can be without. The LP is in solid VG+ condition with some marks that will make some of noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile (or the flipper), but certainly not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps.  Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price? The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
