"Twist Uptown" by the Crystals was released in 1962 by Philles Records (PHLP-4000), and produced by Phil Spector. This is the first pressing with the black and blue label. A year later the album was repackaged as "He's a Rebel." Notable for the first recording of "On Broadway," a hit for The Drifters in 1963.
The vinyl grades VG, with some noise during the first cut on both sides, a few scuffs and spots. It spins with a bit of a wobble. Most of it plays much better than this grade, loud and clear. The sleeve is also VG. The front cover is quite presentable (previous owner had it framed). There's a bump at the bottom right corner, wear to the corners. The back cover shows rubbing, a moisture stain at the bottom right corner, loss at the top left corner probably due to sticker removal. There's a seam split at top center. International buyers – please note : Import duties, taxes, and charges aren't included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be, prior to bidding or buying.
