"Twist Uptown" by the Crystals was released in 1962 by Philles Records (PHLP-4000), and produced by Phil Spector. This is the first pressing with the black and blue label. A year later the album was repackaged as "He's a Rebel." Notable for the first recording of "On Broadway," a hit for The Drifters in 1963. The vinyl grades VG, with some noise during the first cut on both sides, a few scuffs and spots. It spins with a bit of a wobble. Most of it plays much better than this grade, loud and clear. The sleeve is also VG. The front cover is quite presentable (previous owner had it framed). There's a bump at the bottom right corner, wear to the corners. The back cover shows rubbing, a moisture stain at the bottom right corner, loss at the top left corner probably due to sticker removal. There's a seam split at top center.
