Tascam Md-501 Minidisc Recorder

You are bidding on (1) used Tascam MD-501 MINIDISC Recorder/Reproducer.  Also includes the RC-5 remote control unit (battery compartment is clean), the removable AC power cord, and a copy of the Owner's Manual (manual copy was ordered direct from TEAC).  This was tested and found to be in working condition, note that just basic operation was tested, not every recording feature etc.  This is used and while in good condition, it does show signs of use (among other things, scratches on the top of the rack face, etc.). Please study the photos as they form part of the description, no returns.  KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING, THIS IS SOLD AS-IS, NO RETURNS.  This will ship via UPS Ground so shipping address must be a street address. All our tubes are tested and guaranteed by us; we only test tubes on one of our quality calibrated mutual conductance testers, NEVER on an emissions tester. The tester we use is a computerized cardmatic tester from Tubesontheweb dot com; the specific model is a Western Electric KS-15874-L2 which was made for Western Electric by Hickok. Our backup tester which we use occasionally is a military TV-10D/U.  For specialized tests, we employ one of our VTV Dual Triode Characterizers (for preamp tubes) as well as a Maxi-Matcher (for power tube matching). Tubes are guaranteed for 90 days, refund or replacement our choice.
