State Champion - "Light Blues" CD (Sophomore Lounge Records, 2007) -

From my personal collection:  Very rare and early regional title: "Light Blues" by Midwestern artist State Champion (Ryan Davis) - who, in subsequent albums (such as "Send Flowers" from 2015), is accompanied by bandmates Sal Cassato, Mikie Poland, and Sabrina Rush.  Released in 2007 on Louisville's (KY) Sophomore Lounge label, the 10 original cuts were recorded in 2006 at various locations around Kentucky and Indiana. The band formed 10 years ago in Chicago when the core members were in art school. They've now spread across several states and continue to book their own gigs - playing house shows and DIY spaces; they reportedly remain committed to a name that's yielded a hilarious range of Internet results. Outer cardboard sleeve shows minor "shelf wear", but disc is excellent.  Thanks for looking!
