American mail-order label, released by the Chicago based Standard Talking Machine Co. between 1904 and 1916.
Standard records had a 1/2-inch wide spindle hole so that they could only be played on Standard Talking Machine Co. phonographs. The phonographs were given away free as long as the customer bought a certain number of Standard records. All releases were reissues of Columbia recordings. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. All items are professionally packed. 78rpm Records are very delicate and are limited to 5 Shellac records per U.S.P.S. medium flat rate box. If buyer wants any other shipping, please contact us before purchase with requests. Also, Items can be combined or grouped. So, contact me before paying, and I will adjust invoice and send it to you. If you are purchasing 78 records, and have a desire to risk media mail, then handling charge goes from $1.00 up to $3.00 per 78 Rpm. For all other formats this does not apply.
