This unit REQUIRES special "Digital Audio" blank CD's to record. Computer CD-R discs will not work and "Data Disc" will display on the front panel. This is normal for all component CD Recorders and we WILL NOT accept any returns due to the "Data Disc" error. If you do not understand this, please do not purchase this unit,
We had to make a new gear for the laser assembly on the left deck. It looks different than the original but works just as well and does not affect any use of this deck.
