Does not come with usb printer type cable but you can get one off Amazon. For recording onto your computer, you can download Sound Forge from Sony. Likewise the user manual is easily found on Sony web site. Note that the needle has a flip down for protection so make sure its up when playing.  I also tied the arm to the rest post with a tie wrap that needs to be removed.
