Sony Pcm-r500 Digital Audio Recorder

This unit is used, but is fully functional. I bought it used/refurbished by a reputable pro audio service technician for $1200.00. I had purchased 3 other, less costly units on eBay, including one from Japan, prior to purchasing this unit. Although all the other listings stated that the units were functional, none were.

I used this unit to convert a live music DAT catalog to hard disk. I was able to convert over 200 DAT's to hard disk with no issues. The project is now completed. Condition Note: The tape door assembly had been super glued prior to my receiving the unit. The repair broke again. After I glued it again, it broke again. I repaired the break with painters making tape (pictured).
