*Tested and working* This Sony HVR-MRC1 memory recording unit is a professional-grade camera accessory that is compatible with Sony camcorders and cameras. I have been using this for my Sony VX1000 and it’s a great solution to the low availability of MiniDV tapes. This unit comes with a cold shoe mount as well as the FireWire cable to connect it to any compatible camera. The battery that is used to power it is the same battery as the VX1 making everything a lot easier!
