Had to come back and test with a new tape and there is some distortion it may just need a microphone to get a clear recording but when just spoken into there isn’t a clear voice it’s distorted but audibly legible as well I may not know the right settings there is a dial on the side to set recording speed maybe it needs a good cleaning
There is an extra micro cassette recorder that doesn’t work it will vibrate with batteries and the knobs turn in one direction but there isn’t any sound as well 2 decent cassettes that someone may like
