You are bidding on an 10" Silvertone Record Disc Acetate , recorded on both sides at 78 RPM. The record features a woman named Victoria and a young girl named Carol singing together (their full names are spoken on both sides). On one side, they sing a jokey song, "What Did Tennessee?", and on the other side, they sing a song I do not recognize and then Victoria tells a humorous story, punctuated by "Laugh, I Thought I'd Die", a few times. Here are clips from the start of each side of the record. Clicking on these links should take you to a separate page where the clip will play. If that doesn't work, copy and paste the link into a browser: https://od.lk/s/M18yODcyMTczMzVf/Tennessee.mp3 https://od.lk/s/M18yODcyMTczMzRf/Carol.mp3 This is one of two acetates which appear to feature the same child (Carol), which I have listed today. The other one does not feature Victoria, except on introductions. I will be listing more acetates in the next few weeks. Winner pays $5.30 for shipping and handling via media mail. This is the preferred shipping method, but will send by other methods if less expensive, or if requested. Will combine shipping. Will ship internationally.
