Has the original style and same exact size letters that were on the original RCA lights, complete with burnt umber background and bright white lettering. Inside we place 2 rows  of 36 ultra bright LED's (18 per strip) making it far superior than the original RCA light with its expensive glass Lumiline bulb. Our LED's should provide a lifetime of service that operate on an included 12 volt power supply. All interior soldered connections are sealed to prevent wires from becoming loose or disconnecting from vibration or rough handling. Our special effect face give it a dimensional effect similar to the original RCA glass face. Q: Is there anyway I can change the color of ON AIR to RED? A: Sure! Use a 3"x10" piece of RED GEL inside & tape to face. Since the LED's produce practically  no heat, the GEL sheet will last indefinitely! Q: Can I connect this so my microphone switch turns light on? A: Yes, all broadcast consoles have relays to connect it to. Q: Do I need anything extra to mount it? A: NO, everything including a clear spacing template is included. Q: How long will the LED's last? A: That's kind of hard to say. For professional broadcast use, it should last a lifetime.
