Rare Sharp Vn-ez1u Mpeg-4 Digital Recorder

What a find This recording camera is in like new condition - no blemishes or defects.   Powers up on batteries or 6v power supply, goes through the menus properly, takes videos and stills I guess but as I didnt hook it up with software (factory sealed)  I have to assume.   The video cam part works for sure. The software disks  and floppy disk adaptor are still in the packaging , factory taped. This thing is a treasure trove of retro technology in new condition.   Take a look at the power supply.   That is a factory wound cord, and evidently the rubber band that held it together deteriorated over time and left its remnants in and on the bag and cord - I did not disturb it.   I used a universal 6v power supply to power it up. (confirmed it works on the 4AA also, but not included)  The cardboard dividers are still in the box. The operators software manual installation and use manuals are all here and in great condition. This was an estate sale find.  I suspect that this was either a gift or a forward looking purchase, but the recipient or buyer was a bit daunted by all the moving parts so never got farther in than unwrapping the camera, maybe sticking some batteries in it, seeing the newfangled moving pictures on the screen, front facing AND backward !  oooh la laaahh !  Annnnd .....stopped there,,,,, The box wear would indicate its been stored in different places as the owner probably moved several times or aged out or died, but never could bring himself to part with the thng.   But that tough outer skin protected all the vital organs inside in commendable manner.   And props to da man for giving the dang thing a mouse free home and non musty environment all those years.
