Digital EMF Meter This digital EMF meter has a large & clear LCD display with an option to choose either milligauss or microtesla scale. It features a settable sound/light alarm that can be adjusted as low as 1.0 milligauss to alert you of any unusual EMF readings. The alarm will make a beeping sound & the display will turn red. This is very useful if you want to set the meter down in a room & continue investigating other rooms of a building. The sound alarm will alert you of any EMF spikes without having to view the display. There is also an option to mute the sound alarm if so desired. Another great feature is a manual backlight option to make viewing of the LCD display easier in very dark conditions. Other functions include an auto power off option to save battery life when not in use & a battery strength indicator to let you know when the batteries need to be replaced. Digital EVP Recorder This is a PCM Digital EVP Recorder with 8gb of flash memory that records in **ultra high quality** .wav format at 1536kbps. (see all recorder specs below) P CM (pulse code modulation) technology is a means by which standard audio signals are converted to digital audio signals. There is a TF card expansion slot for up to 64gb of additional memory if more .wav file storage is needed. Green Laser Grid Pen This 2 in 1 green laser pen has a single laser beam (remove end cap) & a laser grid that can be adjusted for various patterns by twisting the end cap. The single laser beam is great for pointing things out to fellow investigators & the laser grid can be used to detect any movement from spirits. Any disruption in the grid pattern can be seen with the naked eye or can be captured on video! Shadow people are believed to be spirits with dense energy & can easily be detected with a laser grid! A momentary push button switch is used to activate the laser but we include a rubber o-ring that can be fitted over the pen to hold down the button for a hands-free laser grid. Digital LCD Thermometer This is a thermocouple microprocessor thermometer that measures ambient air temperature at a very fast rate of 2 samples per second! It features a modified k-type thermocouple sensor that plugs in on the top of the thermometer like you would find on a Mel Meter & is very sensitive to fluctuations of ambient air temperature! It has a large LCD display & shows temperature readings with decimal point. (example: 63.7 degrees ) There is a function to switch from Celsius or Fahrenheit & also a hold button if you want to lock in a temperature reading. We would like to explain the difference between an infrared non-contact thermometer (sometimes called a laser thermometer) & a thermocouple thermometer. A thermocouple thermometer has a metal wire sensor that measures ambient air temperature (room air temperature) at the point where the sensor is located at time of temperature reading. This is the way our thermometer works as well as some other popular thermometers/multimeters for paranormal research like the Mel Meter . An infrared non-contact thermometer (some gun shaped, mini cen-tech & others) emits a laser beam as a guide & measures the infrared energy of the first solid/liquid object that the beam hits. The infrared energy of that object is then converted to a surface temperature reading by the thermometer. So let's say you are investigating in a room somewhere & you suddenly feel a cold spot, you would want to take a temperature reading of the room air temperature near where you are located, right? If you use a thermocouple thermometer, then you will get a true ambient air temperature reading! If you use an infrared non-contact thermometer & aim it towards a wall, then you will only get a surface temperature reading of the wall itself! There are "theories" on how an infrared thermometer may be useful for ghost hunting but none that make any sense to us. We have even seen some sellers say that their infrared non-contact thermometer measures ambient air temperature which is simply not true at all! We are just giving you the facts & in our opinion a thermocouple thermometer is much more conducive for paranormal research! Measuring a sudden drop in air temperature is a very effective way to document spirit activity! Multi-Purpose Flashlight This 3 in 1 multi-purpose flashlight has 10 white light LED's, 5 ultraviolet light LED's & a single red laser beam. The white light LED's are great as a normal flashlight for finding your way around in the dark. The ultraviolet LED's are excellent for blacklight illumination when necessary or just a non-bright light. We have found that using an ultraviolet light source with a night vision camera or camcorder illuminates much better than in regular infrared night shot mode. The laser beam pointer comes in very handy for pointing things out to fellow investigators. The flashlight case is made from solid aircraft aluminum & is very durable! We never do an investigation without these flashlights! Some paranormal investigators have a theory that ultraviolet light may actually attract spirits! Infrared Motion Sensor This motion sensor is very sensitive to movement & is perfect for paranormal investigations! In auto mode, it illuminates automatically when motion is detected within a 12ft./120 degree radius in front of the sensor & turns off automatically 25 to 30 seconds after motion ceases. A built-in photocell prevents activation during daylight hours & in brightly lit locations. It also has a built-in passive infrared sensor that detects heat signatures within the detection range. The round motion sensor light can rotate in any direction & can be removed from the base. It can also be used as a flashlight by setting to the "on" position. This motion sensor does not have an audio alarm but we believe this is actually much better for paranormal investigations. Motion sensors with alarms are usually extremely loud & can corrupt any EVP recordings! We usually set up a night vision DVR to record any activity from the motion sensor or place it in a spot where we can watch it without setting it off ourselves. We find these motion sensors to be very useful for collecting evidence of any spirit activity! Motion sensors are used by most paranormal investigators to detect unseen movement by spirits!
