Philips Cdr 765 Audio Compact Disc Recorder

Philips CDR 765 Audio Compact Disc Recorder No Remote, Tested / Half-Working Both sides play CDs beautifully.  Some buttons are less than perfectly responsive, but all the ones to do with playing CDs are workable.  However, the Recording button will not work for me, so until that button works, it won't record CDs.  Other buttons seemed to get better the more they were pressed, but the Record button hasn't come around yet.  Neither has the Auto / Manual button. When you put a Music CDR in, the write laser successfully completes "OPC calibration", so it seems like the writing machinery is fine. I pack carefully and ship promptly. Any questions?
