This recorder powers on, the disc tray opens and closes as needed, buttons work. I could not get the player to actually play the disc though.
I took pictures of the whole process, and what it says on the recorder at each relay. Please, please look at the pictures. It would not play this disc, I have not tried any other discs, so I can't say that it will not play any disc, I don't know.
Comes with everything in the pictures (Recorder and power cord).
