First of all, this deck sounds fantastic! (I used a tape made on my Teac A-7300, available in a separate listing) I have not tested the record function yet as I need a preamp with XLR tape input/output. But I can tell you this deck moves tape smoothly in both directions (FF & RW) and play. The output controls need cleaned so I assume the other controls need cleaned as well. The price reflects the fact I could not test the recording function, but once I am able, the price will go up if all goes as expected. I was told by the previous owner it worked as it should, and he has never been wrong before. (I have bought numerous items from him before) I just like to hear/see for myself before I can guarantee anything. Serial number 18401054 Hub adapters included, metal reels are not.
