1959/60 F.E. Olds & Son R-15 Recording Model Trombone - Fullerton - Serial # 305728 - 1 owner , I purchased from the factory in March 1960, and have played it ever since. It is a Small/Medium bore horn (0.495"/ 0.510" dual bore).  Always stored in temp controlled home, never damaged. The bell shows beautiful engraving and the lacquer has darkened with age, with some spots appearing, as shown in the photos. Tuning slide has original Recording Model counter weight for great balance. Bell section has a few nicks and dings, with minimal lacquer wear, as shown in photos. The outer slide is nickel-silver with some lacquer wear, as shown, and has never been dented. The  inner slide is the "fluted" original (duo-octagonal) which has also never been dented or repaired, and shows no wear on the stockings. This slide has perfectly smooth action and I always only used Original Formula Ponds Cold Cream on it, never any oil. This horn ships in the original Gladstone oval case, which still has fully functioning latches and hinges, with minimal wear to the outside as shown in photos. Comes with the original Warranty Card, which confirms the serial number, and with the trombone stand as shown in the photos. This horn ships without a mouthpiece.
