which blocks the stylus from fully reading the record grooves, ending in distortion.

Examples: superficial scratches, smudge marks, ring wear, edge wear, tears, punch holes, etc. If I miss an issue that’s important to you, it was not done on purpose! These records and Jackets are really not bad for being 40, 50, or even 60 years old!
