Replaced Belts, Cam mode sensors leaf switches, DD drive cleaned with new lubricant for Capstan Motor Shaft for smooth dual capstan transport functions.
Head Alignment using Nakamichi Original Gauges/ Tapes and Calibrated for Meter, Play Level, Dolby Level, Play head height, Azimuth using Nakamichi Alignment Tapes. These steps require multiple Nakamichi Gauges/Alignment Tapes along with Expensive DMM/ Audio Analyzer
Replaced Electrolytic Capacitors in the Power Supply and few other locations for reliability and better sound. These are known to fail suddenly and I have received many CR 5A/7A with such failures. This step is not regularly done on many machines offered here.
Sound wonderful after Calibration of Play, Record Electronics and for Type I , II and IV tapes
