MURDER, INC. Irving Joseph - 1960 Time LP - Spy/Detective Soundtrack

Absolutely stunning original copy of the legendary Murder, Inc. LP on Time Series 2000 S/2002. A splendid collection of soundtrack-style jazz composed and conducted by Irving Joseph. In the style of Peter Gunn and other jazzy soundtracks for detective and cop movies and TV shows. Has a bunch of great hard-boiled titles, such as Prison Break, State's Evidence, Third Degree, Crime Wave, Stool Pigeon, Double Cross, and so on. This is no cheap easy listening record. Really sharp, dark & dirty cop jazz. Liner notes by Nat Hentoff, which proves it isn't some lightweight record. Legendary among collectors nowadays. And nobody ever is selling a copy in such good condition as this one. This copy is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some of those spots on the disc that come from the acid in the paper sleeve but they are not at all damage or wear. Plays absolutely gorgeously. The cover, as well, is nearly pristine.  This is truly a top original copy, hard to beat.
