Talented pianist Jose Manuel Solis, also known as Meme Solis, began studying music at a very young age in Santa Clara, Cuba, making his debut while playing for popular singer Olga Guillot. Later, he teamed up with Fernando Albuerne, recording his first record along with Elena Burke. In addition, Solis became the host of the radio show a Solas Contigo (Only with You), forming his own vocal group El Cuarteto Meme Solis in the early 70s.
This record is part of My Diverse Family’s Estate. It has been on a shelf with many other sealed and unsealed records, untouched and forgotten for many years. I am not a pro record seller but simply listing records that my family has owned. Time permitting, I will list a few items every couple of days.
