"Meet The Beatles!" U.S. Mono Capitol Records Original Mix! DESS! OOP.
This release has the title of the band in green.  This title is not in print and replicates the original Capitol Records U.S. release and mix.
Did you or someone you love grow up with The Beatles?  What a shame that The Beatles music sounds completely different today: digitized, re-mixed, inferior, re-mastered......
Want to hear the original sound?  The warm, tubey mono analogue mix that came out on vinyl? Want to own CD's with the album covers you grew up with?
From Dr. Ebbetts, who pioneered this release..........
"To start, I am offering the American versions of the Beatles' original LP catalogue on Compact Disc. The intent was to replicate, as closely as possible, the original LP issues in CD form, inclusive of the original artwork and the original mixes. To that end, I am offering these titles in this format. It is, essentially, the creation (or recreation) the Capitol catalogue on CD as well as the vast majority of the Vee-jay titles. These issues are what I would envision the actual commercial versions of this material to look like had they been officially released by Capitol/EMI.
As far as the sound quality of the music is concerned, the material itself is as good, if not better, than any I have heard on Compact Disc meant to replicate these titles. The material itself comes from two main sources - either original reel to reel tapes or original virgin vinyl. Each and every CD I offer has been verified to have the CORRECT mixes - not just compilations of the correct titles in the correct order taken from other sources. This is MOST important to the integrity of the Dr. Ebbetts name.
The reason these titles were created in the first place was because in so many instances, incorrect mixes were being used in various releases said to be authentic replications of the original American catalogue.
However, what I believe truly sets these issues apart from other like discs is the artwork. The original Capitol/EMI designs are faithfully reproduced in crisp color and detail. Unlike many issues that exist of the same material, these discs feature artwork that is not blurred by scanning or cheap low-quality inkjet printing. They are printed at no less than300dpi on high gloss professional paper.
The discs themselves are made to replicate "store-bought" discs. There is no tint whatsoever on the data side. They are true silver CDRs. Also, these discs do not have paper labelling. The text is printed directly on the disc via thermal ink transfer, giving it that "store-bought" look, like the commercial issues of The Beatles 'material. The ink used in the disc-printing is HIGHLY scratch resistant. Even with substantial "abuse" the ink stays put. (It's been tested, believe me!)
Again, they are intended to replicate the original releases."
But I'm offering something here that was never in release since the 1960's: the CERISHED MONO MIX of the album!!  Is it different from the stereo mix, which you are also getting, in many subtle ways.  The American Capitol Records Mono mix of this title has never been individually released in CD format.  But this is exactly what it would look like if it were ever released.
