Kung F Bass Recorder

Here it is, folks. The gold standard for modern bass recorders. The Küng bass. This one has all kinds of neat natural grain markings. I know that it looks like grease stains but I promise that it's grain patterns. The foot joint is especially striking. I've never seen grain like this on cherry wood. It is so beautiful that I wish I could keep it, but I cannot 😔 Some lucky winner will have a unique looking bass in their consort.
This has the same rich, full, dark sound that Kung is well known for. It has a strong low end and easy high notes. 3rd octave is no problem either. The bass is in very good condition, the only flaws I could see are a few tiny scratches on the bell. But then, who sees the bell of a bass recorder?
