From my PERSONAL Collection - bought used - and just played on my new Denon turntable. Yeah - I was big into Quad in the day - had the top of the line JVC Quad receiver, four Advents and two turntables - one just for quad - and a quad reel-to-reel tape deck... I rate/price these LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeve, etc. I care about the sound the most. I've cleaned these LPs with my Discwasher and Zerostat - if you need more than that, you have some dirty LPs! I'll be listing my entire Quad Collection (about 70) , as I record them - some fairly rare ones in the mix... Look out occasionally for new listings. Some very rare ones indeed! Original 1975 US LP on GRUNT RECORDS JEFFERSON STARSHIP "RED OCTOPUS" BF1D-0999 This is a QUADRAPHONIC pressing CD-4Vinyl: VG, both sides! Cover: In VERY GOOD condition some scruffs - see photos. LP Sleeve: Original LP sleeve looks great. Notes on sound below: Side #1: Little surface noise, slight clicks/pops here and there, mostly in-between tracks. Just enough surface noise to let you know you're listening to an LP! Side #2: Same as side #1. A few pops on the last three tracks. A better cleaning than I can do, or some SW, could clean up all the low-level noise. Records have been cleaned, play tested, sleeved and protected in an outer sleeve. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LP outside the original cover. The record play through fine - NO SKIPS! These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same. Free Shipping.
