The unit turns on and the AM/FM features work. The tape players makes noise, but they do not spin which means they need new belts. The record player does not work. It might just need a new belt. The tray does still open. If you hold down the open button it slides out and when you let go it closes. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s originally meant to be used but that’s how I was able to open it.
