This horn only has honest wear from playing with lots of lacquer gone only present in spots. PLEASE VIEW ALL IMAGES !
This trumpet is a great player . I used to own and play same model back in the late 1990s and was using it to play jazz and salsa. It worked very well in salsa. It is a very versatile horn which can be used in any playing situation. It has a great weight to it and it’s easy to hold. Horn has great valve compression with fast moving and light valves . Don’t see wear on actual pistons . If you wish to have a bit harder action you can stretch the springs a bit. All pearls are present on pulling knobs and all slides pull as you can see. The trigger works fine and just need to be greased up a bit to close on call. Horn has three dings all small one shallow on the bell bow , other below leadpipe near 1st valve hard to spot because below and another small one on the side of the bell engraving. All can be seen on photos . Engraving is fully visible and readable. I don’t see bell repairs, resolderings , repairs . Leadpipe is fine and clean. This could be a great candidate for the leftovers of lacquer stripping or keep it the way it is with this vintage vibe ? Up to new owner. You won’t be disappointed with this great player so don’t miss out. LA Recordings are rare to see on Pricetronic .
Horn comes with no case and will be bubble wrapped . If you wish an original mouthpiece Olds size 5 I will include upon request from the buyer. The rim is good and playable but it does have a plier scratches on the sides and needs cleaning. Let me know . Thank you
