Limited to 300 hand-numbered copies. Limit one per customer. Includes exclusive "Stay Close To The Cheese" bumper sticker NOTICE: The color and text of each record is unique ranging between bright yellow to goldish orange. These are lo-fi records, each 100% hand-made and individually cut in real time using 1940s-era equipment. The audio is not the same quality as a standard vinyl record. Adjustments to your turntable may be required. The record plays best on a properly weighted turntable, with a lighter-than-usual tonearm weight and neutral anti-skating. Lathe Cuts are playable "vinyl" records made one at a time, in real time, using an experimental process on vintage mono record lathes out of polycarbonate plastic (similar to plexiglass). Lathe Cut records are a TOTALLY different product than pressed records. There are pros and cons to each, but ultimately it comes down to treating them as playable art pieces, rather than as a simple delivery method for audio. These records have lower volume and fidelity, about 80% that of a pressed record, and the audio is not consistent across discs - each one has its' own sound characteristics. None of them will sound identical to your master, but they will all sound cool.
