Acetate of El Gran Combo's "Smile" LP, from 1969. The matrix numbers and the date of the pressing are written on the cover. It was pressed at the Abbey Record MFG, which I believe was in the NYC area.
This record has lots of wear and large surface scratches, but it plays better than it looks. I played it front to back on two different turntables, it played through with some crackle but nothing too bad, a solid VG play maybe VG- for a few stretches here and there.
