Available here is (1) FACTORY-SEALED, imported copy of a hard-to-find classical DOUBLE LP : "The Golden Years of Ezio Pinza" , released in 1980 on Pearl Records (GEMM 162/3). Imported from the UK. Pinza (1892-1957) was a highly-acclaimed Italian opera singer. Pinza possessed a rich, smooth and sonorous voice, with a flexibility unusual for a bass. He spent 22 seasons at New York's Metropolitan Opera, appearing in more than 750 performances of 50 operas. He eventually turned to Broadway and earned a Tony Award for South Pacific , where his version of "Some Enchanted Evening" made him somewhat of a matinee idol. This DOUBLE LP features Pinza performing classics from Mozart, Verdi, Donizetti, and more. See photos for full track listing. The vinyl is mint (sealed in shrink wrap) and the cover VG++ ; it has been around for several decades and the corners have been bumped a bit. There is an old pricing sticker on the front shrink, upper right corner. Please see photos for more detail and make this FACTORY-SEALED Double LP - "The Golden Years of Ezio Pinza" - yours today!
