I didn't want to list it as 'for parts or not working' because it does
work, there's just a problem with the sound as it plays. Please see below. The Pros
: Needle was just replaced with a superior diamond-tip needle. Very good sound quality. COMES WITH ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING, INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND CD and 45" conversion piece. The Cons
: Noticeable scratch on turntable. Cord was damaged and (messily) repaired; works perfectly well regardless. Very minor aesthetic damage on exterior. What's wrong
: Uneven playing time (sound slows down when going 'up' and speeds up when going 'down'—view from side while playing) of an unknown cause. I've inspected the belt, tried leveling the turntable (done by rotating the silver screw to the left of the arm), tried playing brand-new flat records, double-checked that the turntable is flat and level... I suspect a bent spindle, but am not 100% certain.
