If you're reading the description of this beautiful Revox A77 MkI model I don't blame you. Once you saw the cover picture you were hooked. I've had many reel to reel tape recorders. I now own a Sony and a couple of Teacs, but I always come back to the A77 by Revox, looks good, and once you've gone thru it and taken care of any components that should be replaced or updated, you have yourself a R2R good for another 40+ years. As you can see in the pictures I've replaced the problematic caps and most of the board mounted variable pots. it has a brand new pinch roller and tape counter belt. I've spent quite a bit of time and money going through this unit and have been listening to it for the past few weeks. It's now time to pass it on to another R2R fan. The only issue on this particular unit is that the right view meter stopped working after I was done putting it all back together. Not a problem for me because I use my R2R's mostly to listen to tapes. The A77 is portable, a great size, can take the 10" reels, looks good, sounds good, and it's very easy to work on. That's why after I sell this unit I'll be going through another A77, and will probably keep the next one forever. Includes the aluminum reels, 3D printed hubs, and users manual printed on a laser printer. I also included a picture of the parts that were replaced.
