Warner acquired Atlantic Records Corp in the '70's and along with that acquisition were some world class pressing plants. Specialty E-A-S-T was a record plant in Olyphant ,PA well renowned for some of the best pressings ever of many Altlantic /Warner/Electra titles such as Led Zeppelin ll , Sticky Fingers , Phsical Graffiti and too many others to mention. They were a one stop shop for record pressing and made their own lacquers & pressers. The embossed label (E_A_S_T) surrounding the spindle was their trademark for IN HOUSE pressings , often they made pressers for many other plants as well. Only those pressed in house were embossed on the label. Often only two or three of the letters E-A-S-T are legible , but that's the trademark.
