Ampex F44 Fine Line/ In-Line Tube Reel to Reel Tape Recorder
An excellent condition Ampex F44 tube reel to reel tape recorder. Mostly serviceable, it is being sold “as is” because it needs serviced for proper operation.
The issue is that the deck will work for a while before the drive belt falls off the flywheel. This happens even with new belts, and it’s possible I was sent the wrong one.
The last time that it was used, the audio quality was pretty good and the deck seemed to work fine except for the issue mentioned above.
