For sale is an Akai CR-80D-SS 4-channel 8-track player - recorder. It is being sold for parts or not working because I have no way of fully testing it. All I have done is played a tape through the headphone jack. The sound was actually quite good considering the 8-track may be the worst playback format ever :) As you can see in the posted pictures, I was able to get a response in both 2 and 4 channel mode. FF was working well. I am not able to test the record function. I sprayed it down with contact cleaner while I had the top off. All lamps are working. This was an estate find. I have no way of knowing if it's ever been serviced. This is the third CR-80D-SS I've had in my possession. It is no doubt in the best condition of the three. The DIN/RCA cables are included. The Village People tape is not included :) Shipping is $40 to the 48 States. THANKS!!
