This acetate test press was produced by Gold Star Studio in Hollywood. This studio began operation in 1950. I'm guessing this test press dates to mid-1960s. This is because the only production of the song, "The Mark of a Real Woman", I could find was by Jerry Antes on Dot in 1966. I can't find out a lot about "The Vincent Youmans Co.", though it was obviously at one time associated with Vincent Youmans, Broadway composer perhaps best known for writing "No, No, Nannette". The acetate was found stored in an audiodisc sleeve with the label, "The Mark of a Real Woman" demo. The acetate surface LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE with a faint scratch or scuff over a clean surface, I'll grade VG++. 45s2
