Up for sale is a Circa 1950s Box of 100 Foxboro #778067 Circular 12 Day Temperature Charts with a 50-170F range of degrees for hop drying in a hop kiln. They were made for the Foxboro Co., Foxboro, Mass. The copyright on the charts is 1934. My grandpa had this Foxboro temperature recorder instrument installed in his new hop kiln building in 1948 and then stopped using the instrument sometime in the 1960's. So the extra charts that were in inventory date sometime between the fifties and sixties. The box has a lid that has a folding crease about 1/3rd from the top, allowing the lid to be opened to pull out needed charts. The box is 9 1/8" square and is 5/8" thick. The charts have a 8 3/4" diameter. Green hops coming out of the field range in temperature from the fifties and then up to 140 degrees which is the temperature that the hop drying bed thermostats are set for. The full box weighs 1 lb. - This unused box of 100 Foxboro Temperature Charts are in very good, clean, well cared for unused condition.
